Our terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the LadiesFancyDress website and are set out below. Please read through these carefully before placing your order.
We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you.
When you receive your item and there is a problem (i.e manufacturing fault) please contact us within 48 hours. We will replace faulty items like for like.
If there is a problem with the sizing please contact us for details on how to exchange for the next size up or down. Exchanges must be agreed beforehand and sent back within 7 days from arrival. Payment of postage to return the item must be paid by the customer, and payment for the postage of the new costume must also be paid.
We offer a 100% guarantee on our items, because we know their quality is excellent. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered i.e they do not fit, we will exchange them or give you a refund for the items if it is within 7 days from receipt. This is only where you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact. When your item is received by our Return's Department it will be thoroughly checked for any sign of wear. We may also perform chemical tests to detect body odour and deodorant. If there is any evidence that the item has been worn or it is not in a resalable condition due to any reason we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and postage charges cannot be refunded. Returns must be agreed beforehand with written communication and must be returned within 7 days of arriving with you. Returns will not be accepted because they arrived after your party date or event, or your party date has simply been cancelled. Please contact us for further details. Returns must be requested in writing and not on the phone.
If you cancel an order after we have ordered it in from our supplier, this will incurr a 10% charge from the US supplier and a 20% charge from our UK supplier.
If you return items without written confirmation first and authorisation from us, they will not be accepted. If you return items past 7 days from the date of arrival, they will not be accepted.
Please note that certain products are excluded from our general returns policy for hygiene reasons - these are all stockings and petticoats, and certain outfits that come with hosiery, or that are similar to underwear i.e outfits with panties/bras/bodysuits/rompers. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Please do not order several costumes or several sizes of the same costume for trying on purposes; this is not allowed, and refunds will not be given if asking/choosing to return the unwanted items. Many of these items are ordered in from the US and this costs a substantial amount of money, customs charges etc that we take on. At the same time, please do not return items because your party date has passed. Our delivery times are clear.
