Our terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the LadiesFancyDress website and are set out below. Please read through these carefully before placing your order.

 

 

  1. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you.

  2. We will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and send you a further email to confirm your order details. Please note that neither email is acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we dispatch the product(s) to you.

  3. Delivery can be made Wordwide. All goods must be signed for. Delivery of items can take 5-10 working days, unless you have paid for items that are in stock in the UK.
  4. Petticoats/hats/stockings/accessories shown by the models are not included unless otherwise stated. 

  5. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable. But please note 99% of our orders all reach our customers in the timescales we have laid out. If ordering an item with 5-10 days delivery and an item with 2-4 days, your order will take 5-10. There is only one delivery fee paid for, therefore we send all items together.

  6. All items are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

  7. Unless otherwise advised, refunds will be credited to your paypal account, how you originally paid.

  8. When you receive your item and there is a problem (i.e manufacturing fault) please contact us within 48 hours. We will replace faulty items like for like.

  9. If there is a problem with the sizing please contact us for details on how to exchange for the next size up or down. Exchanges must be agreed beforehand and sent back within 7 days from arrival. Payment of postage to return the item must be paid by the customer, and payment for the postage of the new costume must also be paid.

  10. We offer a 100% guarantee on our items, because we know their quality is excellent. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered i.e they do not fit, we will exchange them or give you a refund for the items if it is within 7 days from receipt. This is only where you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact. When your item is received by our Return's Department it will be thoroughly checked for any sign of wear. We may also perform chemical tests to detect body odour and deodorant. If there is any evidence that the item has been worn or it is not in a resalable condition due to any reason we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and postage charges cannot be refunded.  Returns must be agreed beforehand with written communication and must be returned within 7 days of arriving with you. Returns will not be accepted because they arrived after your party date or event, or your party date has simply been cancelled. Please contact us for further details. Returns must be requested in writing and not on the phone.

  11. If you cancel an order after we have ordered it in from our supplier, this will incurr a 10% charge from the US supplier and a 20% charge from our UK supplier.

  12. If you return items without written confirmation first and authorisation from us, they will not be accepted. If you return items past 7 days from the date of arrival, they will not be accepted.

  13. Please note that certain products are excluded from our general returns policy for hygiene reasons - these are all stockings and petticoats, and certain outfits that come with hosiery, or that are similar to underwear i.e outfits with panties/bras/bodysuits/rompers. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

  14. Please do not order several costumes or several sizes of the same costume for trying on purposes; this is not allowed, and refunds will not be given if asking/choosing to return the unwanted items. Many of these items are ordered in from the US and this costs a substantial amount of money, customs charges etc that we take on. At the same time, please do not return items because your party date has passed. Our delivery times are clear.

  15. We try to ensure that the prices quoted are correct and that all products are accurately described on this website. Items can occassionally vary in intensity of colour from the picture shown, and depending on your internet browser. Pictures supplied by each company. Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description or price of goods displayed on this website. If we discover an error in the price or description of goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order based on the correct price or description, or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.

  16. Payment can be made by credit or debit card through PayPal. We do not store or see any financial information.
  17. If you are not in to receive the goods, yet we have delivered on time, then we are not responsible for the delay in your order.
  18. All sizes and measurements are approximate. Please read all washing instructions carefully
