1. I can't find a costume on your website, can you check if you can supply this for me?
Yes, of course. Just email us at enquiries@ladiesfancydress.co.uk giving as much information as possible, and a photo, and we will check for you, quoting price and delivery timescale.
2. I've found the right costume, but you don't have my size. Can you get the right size ordered in?
It's possible that we may not have updated the site with all the correct sizes available so it's always worth checking with us at enquiries@ladiesfancydress.co.uk
3. I've gone to pay for my items, and Paypal is the only option, but I don't have a Paypal account. What do I do?
Don't worry. You no longer need a Paypal account in order to use Paypal. When checking out, it will give you the option to enter your login details if you do have an account with Paypal, or it will give you the option to just enter your card details if you don't. We can accept Debit or Credit card payments.
4. Is Paypal safe to use?
PayPal uses cutting-edge data encryption, fraud detection tools and all kinds of other advanced techniques to improve security, making our customers very safe. Paypal never reveals your financial information to us, and we never see your card details. We use Paypal to make our customers feel safer when buying.
5. Is your website safe to buy from?
We understand this question. With so many sites out there, how can you be sure we are legitimate? As well as the protection we offer with Paypal, we also use Globecharge, a fully integrated secure order processing portal. All your personal and financial information are safe.
6. Is my item sent insured? Will I receive a full refund if it gets lost?
Simply, yes. All items are sent insured and need to be signed for. If for any reason the item is lost, we can not only claim through Royal Mail, but also you are protected with Paypal in the event an item does not turn up and you will receive a full refund. Please note this is extremely rare, and has not happened so far in all our trading years. But peace of mind for the customer is important to us.
7. I have a hen party coming up, and there 15 of us going. Can we get a discount for buying so much?
Of course! Just email us the details of the costumes you require and we'll get back to you with a no obligation quote.
8. My costume has arrived, and doesn't fit. Can I exchange it for the next size up/down?
Yes, of course. Just email us the details, and we will let you know how to exchange.
9. My costumes are coming from America, will I need to pay customs charges or any extra payments?
Absolutely not. It would be unfair to do this, and we take on all the costs of importing these costumes. The price you see is the price you pay, plus UK shipping. There are no extra charges once you have checked out of our website.
10. I need a costume really urgently, how quickly can you get a costume to me!
We are improving and updating our website all the time. We have now changed all our items to show which items are in stock at the warehouse in the UK (for a quick delivery) and which items need to be ordered in from the US.
11. I need my order to go to my work address as I am not home during the day to sign for my parcel. Will the packaging be discreet?
100% discreet packaging, with no way of telling what is inside. We use grey mailing sacks, waterproof and professional, with no invoice/paperwork on outside to indicate what is in the package, or any invoice inside if wishing to hide the price/details(!) The only thing you will see on the back is a very small discreet label with our return address that uses the initials 'LFD' and not our company name.
